Kalekidan Dereje
Office Administrator
Kalekidan Dereje joined FMC as an Office Administrator in April of 2025. She focuses on day-to-day administration and operations support. Kalekidan holds a Bachelor's degree in Spanish Linguistics and Literature from Temple University.
Kalekidan has global experience in community service and the public sector. Throughout and after university, she has worked with local government organizations and nonprofit groups to advocate for policies that support underserved communities in both the US and Ethiopia. Kalekidan was a founding board member and former treasurer of the Horn of Africa Student Association (HASA), where she played a key role in organizing cultural events and supporting students from the Horn of Africa region.
Originally from Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, Kalekidan enjoys volunteering with local cultural organizations and is passionate about fostering community connections through language and shared experiences.
